Why Coram Deo?

I have been trying to think of a domain name that epitomizes my life, or rather, what I want my life to be. As you probably know, I am passionate about a two things; My faith and health. Although both passions have waned a bit from time to time, my passion for my faith has been the most consistent thing in my life. It led me to pursue and complete a masters degree at Liberty University Seminary and has been a steadfast part of my life since I understood, even to a small degree, who God is when I was about fourteen years old. My desire, even when I am in the waning stages, is to grow ever closer to God; to know and love Him better, but as human being, I struggle.

Last week, on December 14th, 2017, Dr. R.C. Sproul went to be with the Lord. I was familiar with him and even own the Reformation Study Bible that he edited, but I did not listen to him preach. However, I knew that his passing was a huge loss for the Christian community. Last night, after I wrote a paper, I decided to listen to a teaching he did on the holiness of God, and at the end of the teaching, he mentioned a “coram deo” moment and explained that coram deo simply means, living before the face of God, or in His presence. At that second, I knew that was my mission and desire in life, to live continually in God’s presence. So I am hopeful that this new website will remind me continually that my mission is to live coram deo every single day of my life. I hope you will join me in God’s presence.
